Practicing Yoga since 2007, and teaching since 2017, the foundation of my practice combines physical strength with the spiritual journey of Yoga. By integrating body, breath, movement, and awareness, I strive to promote an understanding of the inter-dependency of all these aspects in your personal health and well being. I hope you leave my classes feeling inspired and empowered.

January of 2017 I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a post from Lisa, looking for interested people wanting to try yoga. I commented, even though I really wasn’t sure if it was something that I would enjoy. I always wanted to learn yoga, and practice yoga, but never thought I would be able to do it. I reluctantly got ready and went to the class, early, as I wanted to make sure I was set up and close to “teacher” to be able to see the poses, and hopefully do them correctly. I walked in, and was greeted by Lisa, with a huge welcoming smile and I instantly felt at ease. I signed my waver, and set up my mat. She welcomed us all to class, explained what we will be doing, advised us what we may want to purchase if this is something that we wanted to continue…I listened to every word she said, and was eager to get started. I looked around and felt proud to be in the same room with a bunch of others who are willing to try their hands at yoga – like myself.
After our first class, I felt so accomplished. I felt so darn proud that I did all the poses, even though my wrists were hurting, even though I couldn’t get into the poses the same way she did – and I told myself, practice makes perfect. I left that first class and couldn’t wait until the following class…and every class after that I walk away with that same thought. I have said to Lisa numerous times, If you were to hold class 5 days a week, I would attend.
Here is it, 2 years later and I am much better at the poses, I am stronger, but the most important thing I have gotten out of attending yoga with Lisa, is the peace I carry inside myself, and all the new friendships I have gained.

The first time I walked into Lisa’s yoga class I knew I was going to love it. Fast forward almost two years later and I still get excited each week to see what she has in store for us on the mat. Not only has her class helped me to become stronger physically, but also stronger mentally. I tried yoga classes a few times over the years but it wasn't until I participated in Lisa class that I realized how much I love it!!! I've been practicing yoga with Lisa and fellow yogis for about 14 months and I can't say I've ever been disappointed. The way Lisa encourages us to just do and be the best we can be and her instructions are so clear she makes you feel comfortable participating. What it does for body mind and spirit is nothing like I've ever done before. I'm a firm believer in self care and I stress this with my clients every day. My work as a Psychiatric Nurse is very stressful and honestly on the days I know I have yoga, I know my day will always end on a good note! I even encourage my clients to attend Lisa's yoga class!!
